1. Our Commitment to Privacy

FixShip ("we", "us", or "our") is built with a privacy-first architecture. We believe that the best way to protect your data is to never collect it in the first place. This policy outlines our "Zero-Data" approach for the FixShip apps.

2. No Data Collection

Unlike many other shipping applications, FixShip does not collect, store, or harvest any personal information.

• No Merchant Data: We do not store your email, phone number, or physical address on our servers.
• No Customer Data: We do not collect or store names, addresses, or order histories of your customers.
• No Tracking: We do not use cookies, pixels, or any tracking scripts within the app dashboard or the checkout process.

3. App Permissions and Data Scopes

To function, FixShip requires specific permissions (scopes) granted through the Shopify API. It is important to note:

• Internal Access Only: These permissions are used exclusively to allow our Shopify Function to read checkout data in real-time and provide consolidation logic.
• Merchant Ownership: All data processed via these scopes remains within the Shopify ecosystem and your specific store environment.
• No Data Harvesting: Granting these permissions does not allow FixShip to pull, export, or store your data on external servers. We act as a "pass-through" layer for calculation purposes only.

4. Real-Time Processing (Shopify Functions)

Our app utilizes Shopify Functions to consolidate shipping rates.

• Pass-Through Only: Data transmitted during checkout is processed in real-time by the Shopify native environment to apply consolidation logic.
• No Persistence: Once the shipping rate is calculated, the checkout payload is discarded. No data is written to a database or stored by FixShip.

5. Third-Party Disclosure

Since we do not collect any data, we have no data to sell, rent, or share with third parties.

6. Shopify Mandatory Webhooks

We fully support Shopify's mandatory data protection webhooks (GDPR/CCPA). Because our database is empty, any request to delete or view data will simply confirm that no data exists.
